Printing
Images for Windows, Macs and Unix machines:
1. Go to "File" menu and choose " Page
Setup"
- If the image is taller and it is wide, it
may be necessary to print the image in "Vertical" setting
(the default setting).
- If the image is wider and it is tall, it
may be necessary to print the image in "Horizontal" setting.
- If the image is very large, it may not fit
on one page. To fit the image on the page, reduce the scale
from 100% (this may require some trial and error to get it
to fit).
2. Go to "File" menu and choose "Print"
- Select the right printer
- Select the paper source
- Hit "Print" or "OK"
Downloading and Saving Jpg or GIf Images:
On a PC or UNIX:
Place the cursor over the image and click
the right couse button. Choose "Save Image As" from
a dialog box that appears and save the image to the desired location.
On a Mac:
Place the cursor over the image and hold down
the mouse button for a second or two or hold down the option
button and click on the image. Choose "Save Image As" from
the pop up menu that appears and save the image to the desired
location.
Viewing a saved/downloaded image:
1. JPEGView Plug-in - double click on the image
file to open the file to view.
2. On browsers such as IE and Netscape
- Go to "File" menu and choose "Open Page in Navigator" for
Netscape and select image file from dialog box to view image.
- Go to "File" menu and choose "Open File" for
IE and select image file from dialog box to view image.
3. Use a graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop
or Macromedia Fireworks.
