Scientists' Consoles

In front is the side wall of the galley. Turning right is a conference area and an emergency exit. Further right, along the wall are the scientists' consoles. Facing aft, along the blue wall is the science instrument attached to the telescope flange.Turning further right is the mission director's console. The mission director coordinates the efforts of the scientists, telescope operator and technicians with the flight crew to ensure the observing mission is accomplished safely.
