Science Instrument Area

In front is the back of the console used by the telescope operator who makes sure the telescope is operating correctly and is kept accurately pointed at the target being studied. Facing aft is the science instrument attached to the part of the telescope that projects into the main cabin. Different science instruments will be used depending on what the PI (Principal Investigator) is planning to observe.
