SOFIA Science Lunch Talks

The purpose of the Lunch Talks is to get people thinking about the great science that will be done with SOFIA. Although the primary focus will be on science, technical topics that relate to the science performance of SOFIA, such as the mirror coating facility, detector development, a data archive and pointing improvement will also be included.

The talks are meant for all those working on SOFIA: scientists, engineers, technicians and managers. We would also like to include visitors and would encourage visiting scientists to give talks.

All Talks are held in an informal format at NASA Ames Research Center from 12 pm to 1 pm (bring your lunch). Visitors from outside of Ames Research Center must obtain visitor badges prior to visiting Ames. Information and instructions for obtaining a visitor badge.
