SOFIA focus areas/responsibilities:
I support NASA and SOFIA through public facing communications and coordinating with the SOFIA team on important scientific announcements.
I study asteroids and meteorites using near and mid-infrared spectroscopy. I use spectroscopy to identify and quantify different types of rocky materials. Using this information, I make interpretations of the history and evolution of asteroids and the Solar System.
