SOFIA focus areas/responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the smooth transfer of SOFIA raw and pipeline processed data from SOFIA Mission Operations archive to the NASA/IPAC Infrared Science Archive (IRSA) which includes: 1) Reformatting and reprocessing data when necessary, 2) performing verification and validation tasks, and 3) processing and assessing the quality of the data obtained by facility science instruments.
